Attorney Freeland has conducted numerous state and federal trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings before the EEOC, Merit Systems Protections Board (MSPB), California Department of Labor and California Unemployment Appeals Board. He is proficient in litigation and motion practice, mediation, arbitration and depositions. Mr. Freeland also has extensive appellate court experience, and has been the attorney of record in three published opinions from the Fourth District Court of Appeal in California.
A published contributor to the San Diego Update Magazine, Foothills Bar Association and the San Diego Daily Transcript, he is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Foothills, San Diego County and the California State bar associations. Mr. Freeland regularly speaks to and provides training to a variety of groups on employment law-related issues.
